Senator Booker has the spine we wish on every Republican during these fraught times. Someone mentioned he’s passing Ted Cruz’s time, but didn’t he read/quote from Dr Seuss as part of his meandering speech that never did anything useful? Now 22 hrs 51 mins and counting; magnificent!

As of a few minutes ago, the AP called Florida's 8th District for the Republican.
BUT, in a district which went GOP by 30 points last November, the final tally looks close to this: 53.8% Republican; 45.6% Democratic. That means GOP support has slid in the ruby-red Florida north by nearly 24 points in less than 6 months.
Regarding the picture of Musk in a cheese hat, being from Wisconsin I am qualified to tell you that the only cheese he resembles is Limburger because he stinks. It’s a disgrace that he was allowed to wear a cheese hat.
It's taken a while but Senator Booker seems to be finally taking a strong stand, and that's good. But I was absolutely stunned that Booker voted yes to the confirmation of Scott Bessant to head Treasury. The fact that the GOP had enough votes to confirm is beside the point. Bessent as head of Treasury has given the keys to everything to Elon Musk. Not one single Democrat should have voted to confirm even one of Trump's cabinet nominees. I'm also disgusted that Dem Sen. Andy Kim voted yes on Christie Noehm to head DHS. I have called both of my New Jersey Dem Senators repeatedly to express my dismay about some of what they have done. I keep telling them they should not give one fraction of an inch to Trump and Musk
I appreciate the articlr about how to frame discussions about vaccinations but please tell me who has the time to enter into long, careful conversations such those examples?

OK- I was hopeful that you were going to add to the political discussion-- but, NO. You are Democrats through and through- if it can be explained in 10 words, you blather on for 500. Do you really(!!) think that your readership has no other news source? We Don't need academic discourse, we deed a way forward! And, by the way, your belief in the courts is NUTS be because if they aren't willing to call in the Marshals and arrest their asses for not complying with Court orders than ITS USELESS. And We Know they wont do what is needed.
