I really want to make a renewed plea for more written articles, fewer globs of podcasts thrown at me all at once. I realize others may have different desires, but I'm betting most of us came here to read, rather than listen to MSNBC-style talking heads. Thanks.

I actually like both. When I have leisure to sit, I like to read the articles that are posted. When I am up and moving about, doing dishes, folding laundry, etc. I like to listen to the interviews Jen does.

I could not agree more. I prefer reading my news to listening/watching dramatic presentations on video or podcasts.

Excellent point. Paul Krugman does a good job - he transcripts all his podcasts.

Yes, I want to add my agreement here. I know many people prefer listening to reading, and it’s great that that is available. But don’t forget that there are many others who far prefer reading to listening. For about a week, maybe a month ago, transcripts were available, but that stopped. Please provide transcripts!

I can read about 10 times faster than I can listen, so video tends to be ignored in favor of printed words.

I like both. I read first thing in the morning then in the evening I listen to podcasts while I do puzzles before bed. I like hearing the peoples voices and putting a face with the name.
