The stock market recorded yet another TRUMPIAN DAY as the administration continues to take a wrecking ball to the retirement accounts of every hard working and retired American! During April the DEM's need to take every opportunity to remind people to check their quarterly retirement accounts statements to see what they PAID for Trump's failed MAGA economic plan and remind them it will only get worse once the additional TRUMP TARIFF's kick in during April. Maybe, just maybe those Trump supporters will finally start to connect the dot's and see that they do lead directly to THEIR wallets!!
COntinue to notice the actual cost of daily life to working Americans, many of whom do not know anything about the stock market. Eggs, milk, bread, rent or mortgage costs. Risk-averse insurance companies raising rates, especially for natural disasters in our area. What has been wrong with the Democrats is that they don't seem to know much about the needs of working families. And they don't seem to realize the strength of multi-cultural diversity places where colorful ethnic groups have shown they DO and CAN co-exist, and want to not be overshadowed by something that looks like a day in Pleasantville.

tRumphs's most damaging tactic has been "divide and conquer." The way to fight back and hopefully salvage America is to UNIFY the ANTIFAs and MAGAs. We actually have many common concerns and each day more MAGAs are seeing the light. [They could call themselves "WuZaMAGAs". I envision them wearing MAGA-hats with a BIG black "Z" Zorro style across the white letters.]
I just fortuitously discovered Joe Walsh yesterday. Given his past and present relationship with MAGA, I asked if he'd be willing to spearhead this "unification" effort or know of someone who can. [NO REPLY YET; I HOPE SOMEBODY ELSE WITH CLOUT WILL HELP OUT. I'm a cloutless nobody.*] It is critical that we motivate/encourage and mobilize WuZaMAGAs to demonstrate AGAINST tRrumph/musq ~~ALONGSIDE~~ ANTIFAs [Indivisible, etc.] ON APRIL 5.
To get buy-in on this UNIFY THE U.S. strategy from both sides, both sides must agree to set aside the things we don't agree on. (We can deal with those differences through the senate/house and courts after tRrumph/musq are reigned and our country is back on track.)
It is key to identify a few (10-15)"common-ground" issues that MAGAs (and ANTIFAs) care about most and make that the UNIFY THE U.S platform.
Top of the list might be TRUMPH LIEDTO US: TrumphTarrifs (all one word), which have ruined our economy, impacted the stock market, etc.
Also, our allies now consider us the enemy.
Other big bang for the buck items include fallout from the MAGA chain saw:
Veterans - firing vet. government workers, diminishing the VA services. (continued in comment)

Threats to medicare and medicaid.
Killing USAID is ruining farmers, and....

I just sent this to Sen. Chri Murphy -- I think it should be spread far and wide: "In his spare time -- if he gets any -- I have an idea for Chris and the Dems to hit back at Musk and Trump. Since Musk's team says they've found all kinds of inefficiencies in government due to outdated equipment and software -- AND they say they're saving 10s of Billions of dollars -- why not put those two together into a bill to dedicate all the "savings" to fighting inefficiency and fix that BEFORE any more tax breaks. It's time to start running FOR something and not just against Musk & Trump. It's time for a little political 'jiu jitsu'"
Why have I not seen any commentary on Trump signing executive orders aimed at businesses, law firms, the Smthsonian and other non-federal entities? These are worthless documents. He has no power to tell any non-governmental entity what to do or not do.
Even worse than tariffs & reckless undermining of the US economy, which only 6 months ago was "the envy of the world" according to the Wall Street Journal, is the attack on public health...MAGA's unprecedented assault on scientific truth & demand for subservient confirmation of misinformation and lies has adversely impacted public health in our nation.
The Food and Drug Administration’s top vaccine official Dr. Peter Marks resigned and said that Health Secretary RFK Jr.’s stance on vaccines was irresponsible and posed a danger to the public.
Dr. Marks led the agency’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, which authorized and monitored the safety of vaccines and a wide array of other treatments, including cell and gene therapies. He was viewed as a steady hand by many during the Covid pandemic
