Everyone keeps saying this war is illegal. In addition to all his/the regime’s other illegal acts- when is someone going to enforce the law? When SCOTUS granted DJT and all presidents such broad immunity,is this what they were thinking/hoping for? I’d like to know how removing the guardrails has made us any safer as a nation? And are we fairly represented by our Congress, bc by I don’t feel like they speak for most of us average tax-paying citizens. It seems to me that once again we have a situation where we are taxed but have no representation.our votes don’t seem to count like they should when corruption manipulates the vote. So what remedies are left to the public in order to make our voices heard? We continue to make phone calls and b protest,but is it making any impact at all, when this felonious gang can attack other nations, pulling us into wars without Public or Congressional approval? Have we lost our nation to an immoral greedy regime?
I don’t disagree with you but in a country where ethics and civics is no longer taught in schools and religious leaders and church’s have betrayed people as well,where to begin? There’s such a culture of distrust in our institutions and systems.Fairness is under attack, tolerance and empathy are too, as DEI didn’t quite pan out the way we had hoped. The propaganda machine is overwhelming and people don’t know what to believe. The Epstein Elites are a clear and undeniable example of our two tiered justice system . It goes on and on.the wealthy get away with their crimes, bc justice is for sale. We have all this technology but we don’t have an ethical framework to protect our citizens from harm from it-instead we market it to them. It’s not lost on me that the big tech bros don’t allow their kids to have phones and Xboxes and iPads! We’ve been duped!How to turn this around?
1. Recognize we no longer live in a democracy but an Autocratic Fascist state where "fairness, tolerance and empathy consists only of what the Fascist dictator wants.
2.Recognize that all we are getting from the Trump administration is propaganda that he is using it to finish the takeover of our government. Along with "propaganda comes the two tiered justice system used to allow the wealthy to fleece America of its money.
3. An ethical system "to protect our citizens from harm" no longer exists. It did when America was a democracy. It now has become a way for Trump and his creeps to fleece America of its money. And now American citizens are being killed by the cops on our city streets.
4. The ONLY way to stop this is to indict, arrest and prosecute Trump and his creep friends. I don't think there is any other way.
But if we had someone willing to enforce the law and arrest them if would have happened before now. He’s broken plenty of laws and ignored plenty of court orders. Unless other nations intervene to arrest them it doesn’t seem likely.So what are we left with, civil war? It seems like he will not honor elections or their outcome unless he can rig them in his favor. History has shown us that democracy eventually prevails but usually in a different more “Socialist”form.

Unfortunately Allison, I believe we have lost our nation precisely because we have lost our moral compass.
And, I believe the only way back to a country for and of the people is thru re-adoption of morality and an ethical path.
