Yay Wisconsin!! I'm hoping that there are still some reasonable Republicans that really listened to Cory Booker's speech. I hope they realize that there are more people who are going to say NO to the tribalism, intimidation, bullying and childish name calling that all began with djt.
There will be non partisan protests all over the country on Sat. and I hope there will be a renewed trust in the Democrats who have finally showed the public that they are capable of fighting for them. I don't think this would have happened before Cory Booker's speech.

This country has already been having trouble getting new recruits for the military. They've had to increase the weight limit and decrease the education and other requirements. That's already bad.
But now, these totally incompetent, unfit, inept, and absolutely clueless about any SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) or our laws has told ANYONE who might ever again consider joining the military that they are just pieces of meat, their lives are completely insignificant and nothing these horrors will consider for a second. All that matters to these even too lazy to learn anything about their current jobs AND what the requirements are for, say, never spreading any info that concerns National Security (That's a FELONY, btw, Pam Bondi!!!!!!!!!) BEFORE they start any part of the job that the sycophants in the senate confirmed you for, is themselves and just how "cool" they can pretend to be, because they know some private info.
Basically, "Listen to THIS that I know, aren't I cool? Screw all the American military members who might die because of my strutting! This is all about ME."

Trump is clearly ineligible to be elected again, under the 22nd Amendment, though some of his partisans will raise the specious claim that said Amendment should be interpreted to mean two consecutive terms, not two separated terms, as the limit of eligibility. Where it gets tricky and will be dependent upon the SCOTUS preference, is whether he can ascend to the presidency via non-electoral means, i.e., being elected VP and then the elected president resigns immediately after inauguration, or he is elected Speaker of the House and then both the elected president and VP resign immediately after inauguration. My money is on a declaration of martial law and cancellation of the 2028 election, which is a much more straightforward path that thumbs its nose at the judiciary, assuming that DJT is alive and functional at that point.
