I don't think it's about collecting the stuff, as much as it is about sharing the message of the work that needs to be done with others, both informed and uninformed. When you wear the t-shirt or hat it lets others know here you stand...it also lets them know that they are not alone. When you drink from the mug, it reminds you that there are a lot of people who are struggling with current events just like you are. When you hang a poster or share a postcard you are reminding others that apathy and passivity are not options. As far as I'm concerned, the fact that the proceeds go toward the lawsuits and efforts made on behalf the Contrarian, is one HUGE bonus...it let's me feel like I'm helping too.

Why is resistance about buying stuff?
Does he/she/it who buys the most stuff resists the most?
I assume the proceeds from sales support the Contrarian, including litigation on behalf of democracy. I feel that’s a pretty good cause.
