I am so happy to hear someone is taking to people now. For the past I don’t know how long, Dems think that there are only 7 states in this country and they only care about them in September before Election Day. And then they wonder why they lose. They really need to do Howard Dean’s 50 state strategy. I have heard some people wanting to vote for a Dem but there isn’t one on the ballot. Now is the time to start working on next year’s election.

Wonderful common sense approach to voter outreach which we have not seen in a long time. Thank you and good luck

I agree that "we need to do more asking and probing, rather than sort of lecturing people."

It’s time the Dems went into the red states and reddest of districts. Republicans don’t own us. They have abandoned their core principles and values like I just said to Jen’s previous guest who is running in Tennessee 7. All they care about is helping their rich friends. They don’t give a rip about the rest of us common folks who work for a living. Give us a great reason to vote for you but above all be authentic and stick to the message and do what you say you’re going to do. Have a strategy and use it against the GOP. I live in Alabama and I would gladly welcome a few Dems in my state for governor or senator or any of the house or state house districts.

The candidate has to fit the district. Mamdani could win in NYC, but he wouldn't get the time of day in an Iowa swing district. I suspect the bulk of the party understands that, but I'm not sure the Progressive wing does.
