All I can say is that I'm glad I'm a charter member of The Contrarian, and that I am thrilled Norm and his legal team, Jen and other accomplished political journalists are hard at work, blocking unconstitutional efforts and exposing corruption day after day. You've got this subscriber for life, because even after we turn back this inept attempt to tear apart our democracy, there could be others. This decade-long debacle with Trump and his goons has taught us to be wary. Many of us thought something like this couldn't happen in the United States, but even though he's a moron, Trump caught us unprepared. Thanks to The Contrarian and many of its partner organizations across the country, we won't be surprised again.

"This latest election sabotage effort began on Tuesday, when the Trump regime sent California elections officials a thumb drive supposedly containing a list of about 20,000 noncitizens registered to vote in the state."

A similar list was sent to Nevada recently claiming that over 100 registered voters weren't citizens and were to be removed from the voter rolls. Investigation proved that they were all citizens and so, eligible to vote. California election officials would be well to doubt the veracity of any of the data on that thumb drive. One official indicated that they wouldn't even plug it into a computer.

It's terrible that there is so much litigation involved in keeping an election free and fair, but thanks to all who are making it a reality.

These numbers aren’t even MATERIAL to the outcomes! TG these are deeply incompetent, unserious operators. We’d be screwed if Norm and his ilk weren’t with US!

Jen is so eloquent.

Norm is brilliant and unflagging, and I wish someone else would be the TV face of his remarkable cadre of valiant lawyers. Or maybe whoever helped Jen Psaki's make-over, curing her of some tics and less-effective verbal presentation, could help him. I respect and admire his work greatly, and just can't watch him on TV. No one is great at everything [well, maybe the Obamas...].

"Natalie Fertig wrote on how Americans are clamoring for more choices on the ballot and why backers of the independent movement say just one or two wins this year will change the game."

Well, Norm, how do you feel about breaking the hold of our two-party system?

"Contrarians, with just two and a half weeks until the midterm elections, it is clear that the American people have had it with Donald Trump and the Republican Party..."

Probably true, Norm. But it doesn't necessarily follow that voters are now suddenly enthralled with the Democrats or thier policies.
