What's so depressing is that truthful, factual articles like this one read like satirical articles from The Onion decades ago.

This is a depressing state of affairs. People voted to get this nut job in the primary. I'm a native Coloradoan and I am stunned that he even got this far.

I too, am stunned. The fact that this nut case received any prominent recognition in the Republican Party simply astounds this registered independent. The depths of depravity that even Colorado Republicans have been willing to sign up to is simply astounding to me. I can only hope the State that I love relegates this poor excuse for humanity to the trash heap in the November election.

Michael Strelka's avatar

apparently most Repugnicans are nutjobs as well.

Jim Skofield's avatar

Why be stunned? Look who else the Republican Party has nominated in the past 25 years.

Jertie, it just proves that people love to believe lies are real, particularly if they think the guy doing those "great" things might be telling the truth. Once they have adopted this fool, they will be his forever, never believing that he could have possibly lied to THEM. He wouldn't do that, right!

The Republican/MAGA Party just keeps getting weirder and weirder. I'd prefer he follow in Jesus's footsteps and concern himself with providing medical care and food to those in need rather than battling "demons."

There's no money in that. everything this guy says is probably/hopefully a lie. the base of religion is money...pharrisees in temple, Vatican bank started under mussolini, present day jim and tammy baker types, billy and franklin graham, joel olstein, titheing, etc. Jesus would be like WTF man !!

This guy is the George Santos of Colorado. Surprisingly they are both in the Republican Party. Go figure!

Stunned that crazy Pete, has not sent him to Iran, to defeat them.

Snark aside, it is totally insane, people vote for him, and believe his crap.

A truly sad time for Colorado and the USA.

My gawd 🙄 How f’kn dumb do we want to be?

I read about this person last week and was simply gobsmacked that he could win a primary for Governor. WTH America?

Arkansas Blue's avatar

Unfortunately, Colorado has its corners where fascist nutcases do well. Look at Boebert.

Lois Levenstone's avatar

True, and of course she endorsed him. What a timeline we live in

Gerald Kelly's avatar

Why isn't this man in a mental institution?

L B Rose's avatar

He really sounds perfect for today's GOP. Lying grifters are their "normies".

Marcus's avatar

Today's leader of the Republican Party, who is a convicted felon, sexual abuser, war monger, serial bankruptcy artist, non-religious inveterate liar, who among many things also sells fake Bibles. Despite this, he has twice been elected President of the US and is now destroying the Capitol of our country while pocketing tens of billions of dollars. He has resolved so many wars that we have lost count, and he did this while tilting at windmills to save the lives of many, many birds and whales, and is not certain whether he would abandon an electric fire on a boat that is sinking in shark-infested waters.

Victor Marx is only following the successful game plan laid out by the President of the US and supported by the Republican Congress and Supreme Court. If we want to keep a civil society alive in our country, we have to start winning elections back-to-back, and indict, hold accountable to the rule of law, and jail all of the frauds of what has become the Republican Party. If what Marx and Trump are doing becomes "The American Dream", then we are lost as a country.

Debbie Rakestraw's avatar

He won a primary???? Absolutely unbelievable. If Colorado elects him, they deserve everything that will hit them as he scams his way thru their tax revenue following the Trump example.

Terry Odell's avatar

I'm a Colorado resident. This is scary stuff.

Harvey Perry's avatar

Considering the level at which Donald Trump has set the bar, with the support of the Republicans in Congress and the Supreme Court, I cannot think of a reason why Victor Marx could not be elected President of the United States of America.

Almost as unbelievable as Colorado Gov. Jared Polis commuting Tina Peters' prison sentence and releasing her on parole.

Thank you for the article, Tim this man is one who is very evil to everyone. He lies a lot also.
