These are all great suggestions, but I have my own by Eddie Van Halen. Dance The Night Away. It is all about personified democracy. When Alex and Eddie Van Halen arrived in Pasadena as children all they had was 50 bucks and a piano. As they grew older and became interested in other instruments and American rock music they experimented and the rest as they say is history!

Great article as always, Meredith. Call me old-fashioned, but in my mind I've been playing "Happy Days Are Here Again" which was used for Franklin D Roosevelt's campaign. I really am ridiculously happy!

This was a fun line up, but the Dolly Parton piece was the perfect denouement. Excellent!

I would add some songs that I played in honor of the St Louis Blues Stanley Cup win in 2019. They are my second favorite hockey team and it was their first Stanley Cup Even.

"Blue (Da Ba Dee) " by Eiffel

"Tangled Up in Blue" by Bob Dylan

Also "Dancing in the Street" by Martha and the Vandellas.

Also "“Rising Dawn” – Paul Dinletir, Audiomachine which was the sound track of the pre-game playoff video of my favorite team, the Washington Capitals, the year they won the Stanley Cup in 2018.

Always glad to see Dar Williams mentioned here. I second the recommendation on Iowa. And it's great live too.
