In support of No Kings day and the upcoming elections, I like this quote from Alito and Thomas in their dissenting opinion in Georgia v. Public.Resource.Org, Inc. in 2020:
"under the Constitution, sovereignty lies with the people, not a king."
I also like this from Abraham Lincoln in 1859 (the year before he ran for president and two years after the abominable SCOTUS decision and opinions in Dred Scott in 1857), when the nation was saddled with a corrupt POTUS, SCOTUS and Congress:
"The people—the people—are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts—not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert that constitution."
Their support of Trump in many decisions over the past two years is thoroughly dishonest. They are knowingly violating our Constitution and their own oaths of office to help Trump do the same.
We receive our ballots by mail because our elections are complicated. However, we do not trust USPS to deliver our ballot. We take our completed ballots with signature on the envelope to our polling place. If someone else needs to do this but cannot get there they can provide an authorized signature designating that person to deliver their ballot.
I think this info is incorrect based on information from the IL State Board of Election. I worked as an election judge in Chicago and voters could only drop off their mail-in ballots at designated locations (official election authority), not at one’s usual polling place (this was confusing for many people). Below is a link to State of Illinois FAQs and an excerpt.
“Can I drop off my mail ballot at my polling place or an early voting location?
No. Completed mail ballots cannot be accepted at polling places or early voting locations. Voters attempting to do so will be offered the option of surrendering their mail ballot and voting in person instead.”
This is a one off. Stay focused on the Epstein files. Ask Trump one very simple question “ why are you afraid to release the files as you promised to do in 2024?” Ask it 4 times a day until the files are released. This is the ONLY issue Trump is afraid of!

For me, both the Trump administration and AI seem to have a very flawed understanding (see the Epstein fiasco) of what moral and ethical behavior is. Those in the Trump administration have those who raised them to blame for their warped moral, or ethical outlook. It seems to me that AI suffers from the same problem. Morality and ethical behavior being programed in AI IS being given the same import as the import the parents or guardians who raised those now in the MAGA right raised their kids to believe.

it will help the bottom line.
it will strengthen my position.

Read the clear intent and plain language of paragraph ii, which gives Congress absolute authority to deny SCOTUS jurisdiction over laws it enacts -- such as a renewed Voting Rights Act, Civil Right Act, new laws governing gerrymandering, removal of a president's unconstitutional assertion of executive privilege to break the law, and dozens of other laws, norms and rules that need to be re-enacted AS laws, and requirements and prohibitions governing separation of powers.
Expecting my mail in ballot any time now, but I'm attending a League of Women Voters forum on Colorado's ballot initiatives on October 17th so I will take my ballot to the county after I hear LWV expound on the ballot initiatives. There are a record number this year, and as we all know, some are worded in such a way as to mislead the voter.
We need to banish AI from many things including these campaign commercials but on the note they shouldn’t be able to disparage their competition with ads that are just mean and attempt to demonize their opponents. We shouldn’t have to listen to that bs. They should be required to use advertising focused on themselves and why they should be your candidate of choice without having to use nasty names, falsehoods and slurs against another
