Hold the line on ICE AND BORDER Patrol; pay TSA and others. Republican leadership is inhumane; They have lost their way in understanding Democracy. How can anyone vote for these individuals that erode us? This, I don’t care, message should alarm everyone.
Erica Chenoweth…Harvard prof, studied hundreds of nonviolent campaigns worldwide, and found nonviolence wins twice as often as violence. The big hook? The "three-point-five percent rule" i.e., 3.5% of a population actively joins a sustained, peaceful movement or protest, strikes, boycotts…then no government in history has held out. They either fold or change.
As for presidents or political groups? Chenoweth's data says “yeah” (see citation above) if enough people stay disciplined and nonviolent, even the toughest systems crack. No guarantees, but history backs it.
Reject lawless authoritarianism, billionaire-first politics, and the militarization of our democracy.
Yes to all of the above (except running for office-I'm 80). I've been boycotting Amazon, Home Depot, and Target and supporting local and democratic businesses.
Also yes to Saturday (cold in Vermont). Lots of the seniors in my community in South Burlington will be out with our signs and our hopeful hearts. No Kings!

Fortunately no ICE at Logan - United airlines, Terminal B.
