Two big lessons from this story:

1. Reality TV is a scourge on culture because it elevates people who have no actual redeeming character and teaches them to crave ever more attention.

2. Rich people (who are bankrolling this jackasses' campaign) aren't anywhere near as smart as they think they are.

Reality TV is dumbing down America.

Ditto for Joe Rogan, a mediocrity who gives verbal blow jobs to MAGA politicians and conspiracy nuts.

The same can be said of politicians, the media and the pundit class.

If Angelenos elect this creep as their next mayor, they deserve him. Hopefully, the example set by the orange dumpster will prevent that.

How on earth do we live in this chinsy world? People have become dumber than retarded.

Too bizarre to be real--running a large city is not a poor, fake reality show.

You know what, I hope he wins. It will teach all of "them" politics is not a game and it is not easy.

It never ceases to amaze me what/who aggrieved white men will glom onto to feed their bigotries and insecurities.

They are convincing themselves that a guy with zero public office/administrative experience, a guy who is blaming a black woman because he can't rebuild his uninsured house, a guy who is only known for being a jackhole on reality TV, a guy whose most prominent endorser is another former reality show jackhole, is somehow the person Los Angeles needs to save them.

Another great one!
