This is the kind of reporting we need more of from The Contrarian, especially whenever there are elections. I appreciated learning more about Ms. Spanberger and her positions. For sure she is the best candidate because she is facing reality and issues.
One candidate is talking about the issues most important to Virginians and the other is not. It’s clear who should be Virginia’s next governor. Go Abigail!
Great interview with Virginia's next Governor Abigail Spanberger. So many issues were addressed with candor and compassion. Thank you. We are all in this together. No Kings. Peace.
Articulate. Agree with her. Would like to see more steel. For example say “this administration is a disaster for Virginians and my opponent wants more disaster”
I feel for Virginians because they at least tried to do their part in the election. Unfortunately that puts them right in Trump's sites not to mention their misfortune to be part of the beltway under Trump...double whammy.
Voted for her on day one of early voting, as did the rest of my family. She will do great work for all Virginians! She will help our country. Our Lieutenant Governor candidate is also a rockstar, Ghazala Hashmi, and Jay Jone for Attorney General. We also need to keep the house and the senate.

Yes. The other candidate is a one trick pony...she has just one subject to talk about.

Start calling tariffs “taxes”.
Farmers want healthy soil too.
Best of luck for Governor Spanberger!

My only wish is that the DPVA would have continued to support the 26 candidates in rural area. Even if they lose, they are helping on many levels. https://virginiamercury.com/2025/09/15/virginia-value-pack-candidates-push-fundraising-say-democratic-party-needs-to-invest-more-in-them/.
