The only remedy for stupid SCOTUS decisions is 1. Compliance with ethics rules, but first they all should be subjected to them and congress should draft them in the next congress. 2. Term Limits for SCOTUS and 3. Adding more justices to the court. Who says just nine?
RAM through a bill expanding the size of the House. It's been stuck at 435 for a century. And it's something the House can do on its own - doesn't need Senate approval or a Constitutional amendment or SCOTUS involvement.
Add enough new seats so that when the decennial redistricting comes around after the 2030 census, EVERY state will have to COMPLETELY redraw their maps to add the new seats.
And the decline in the public's trust of SCOTUS continues unabated...
a very sad day for our republic
Great conversation today with Harry Litman - thank you. Grateful to follow the preeminence of all you do.

Today's decision will drop us down a few notches, on the Polity score, closer to autocracy. Sad

Apartheid coming to America.
How is this not effectively election/vote tampering? Isn't it illegal?
