A lovely tribute to the bishop, born in DE, home to the first landing of the Dutch in the 1600’s where AME churches were established and roving pastorate were begged from England to travel on a horse or mule to work. People of color were not treated well but were encouraged/forced to attend and their place was a hastily established balcony while the white people sat in boxes on the main floor. Great people always rise to the top even if it is via the balcony. Thank you for reminding us of this great man’s life.

Which comes first problem - winning back governing majorities in House and Senate or standing against corrupt money influence in politics that preserves the status quo and prevents the radical change needed to return power to the people.
Need to address the perception of millions of Americans that politicians care more about their donors than they do the needs of ordinary Americans.
Per Rep. Meeks (of Queens), China has more consulates in Africa than the US.
Grateful for your leadership in foreign affairs. May the day come soon when Ds are in the majority and you can help to repair these critical US/Africa relationships.
