I loved every minute of the event. Megyn Kelly said it was pandering to blacks. Does that mean if the show is all about white art it would be pandering to whites? The men looked amazing!! My favorite was the man who wore a bright red suit with a billowing piece of fabric over his shoulder filled with the colors of red, gold, green and more. He embodied an African King. Just beautiful. Those of you below who worry where the money goes...This was an art event. Raising money for art without which we are a very sad civilization.

I'm sorry, but I found the Met gala to be tasteless and utterly unaware and/or dismissive of the circumstances we presently find ourselves in, much like past Met galas, except that this year we are facing an unprecedented assault on our individual rights, institutions and the rule of law in general. I find nothing to celebrate in the oligarchy's Met gala. That said, my husband and I frequent the Met often to view its incredible art collection.
Kamala Harris's gown was subtly impressive. In simple black and white, it spoke to her mixed heritage and also, if you want to go that far, the state of our union.
As always, Lewis Hamilton shone. This man has taken F1 and twisted it’s tail with his Mission 44 initiative to grow minority and women opportunities. I think his first year at the Gala he bought a table for lesser known black designers.
The Met gala is a giant waste of money. It’s all about being seen for the guests. The guests should instead take the tens of thousands they spend on their ridiculous outfits and donate to a worthy cause.
