As someone who’s a disaster survivor and works in disaster preparedness and recovery I’ve seen this firsthand. Disaster declarations being denied due to politics in blue states even in red areas of those states. Even though these often have large populations of seniors and veterans. Disasters aren’t political and shouldn’t be and we will only continue to see more of them as the climate warms.
It's made more difficult to work with truth. Science and climate being some of the most affected, when funding and personnel are shorn away. We've lost out at FDA, Park Service, HHS, CDC, in other words, just about everywhere except ICE/DHS. It has come to this: we need more protection against the "protectors".
I've noticed that the MSM is spending more time on the evening news about weather-related events and less on political news that might be damaging to Trump. Whether they know it or not, in doing so, they're only highlighting the climate crisis and the urgent need to do something about it.
Do you mean MSNOW? Because that is quite an anti Trump network. But I'm certainly glad there's more climate related news. It's difficult to ignore devastations and catastrophes [Nepal, Grand Canyon, wildfires, air quality, excessive heat, etc.]
