I'm in Colorado and voted early. I voted a straight pro-Democracy ticket, and by definition that meant I did not vote for any Republican or Republican leaning Independent. My vote has been accepted and will be tallied on Tuesday! Yay USA Constitution!!!
Love that in Oregon, where I live, and Colorado our vote-by-mail ballots can be tracked online so that we know immediately when they are accepted. If there is a problem with the ballot my county makes an effort to reach out to the voter to see if that issue can be resolved rather than simply discarding it. In Oregon VBM won a citizen’s initiative to become law in 1998. Not only is it secure with signature matches, it has saved the state a lot of money to administer. Why other states have not followed this pattern is a mystery.

I do not share your confidence. I don't think our election systems are impervious to hacking, especially now that we have AI to contend with. I think the Dems should have challenged several states in 2024 but for some reason they folded like an old suit so we will never know. And we know Trump is going to do things during and after election day that will throw things into chaos. And on January 3, the Republicans in charge now will refuse to seat the Dems. Thank goodness we have people like Norm working to defend the system! At least we can count on that.
Trump has a lifetime of demanding others lie for him with variations of "Just say that the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen." Since enough of his cluelessly naive TV fans elected him President of the United States, he now is spending OUR government and unlimited taxpayer money, credit and credibility, to enrich and empower himself.
Surely by now everyone knows this. So why does almost every Republican elected or appointed official continue to support him with their actions or their silence? As bought-off as many Democrats are, why would ANYONE now vote for ANY Republican enabler? Trump's utterly corrupt self-dealing at everyone else's expense must be stopped immediately.
I always feel better after reading Norm’s weekly report. And those two right wing influencers, and obviously nitwits who got caught trying to defraud the election process in Minnesota proved what Norm and his allies have contended for years. Our system is safe, and no amount of whining and filing suits from our so-called president will change that. No one ever challenged our system to this degree before that imbecile. And if we are successful on Tuesday, no one will ever challenge it again. Norm and his team are owed a debt of gratitude.

Trump Knows That Any Amount of a Bribe Would Be Proven Illegal, But if the Bribes Work, Who Cares?
Isn’t it pathetic that Trump now rcognizes that the only way the normal American voter would vote for his extremist and warped agendas and his slate of slugs, toadies and lackies is if he bribes us? He obviously thinks we’re all suckers.
At the same time, Trump is bragging that he’s willing to further drive up taxes to also pay for bombing Iran back into the stone age.
For the next two years, we’ll have a madman in the White House, and the only way to rein in his visceral urges will be for the Democrats to take both Houses of Congress.
Hat's off to you, Norm Eisen, the Democracy Defender Fund attorneys, and all who are standing up to Trump's vexatious littigation efforts. These are the efforts that will ensure that the election process continues to be one of the most secure and well-directed in the world. Thanks to you for taking on this huge and very important task. We'll do our part, to not be intimidated and to vote.
