You are so right that "in a sane universe, the 25th Amendment would have been invoked long ago". Trump's Truth Social posts are literally getting whackier by the day. So, I wonder, are his remaining supporters just as whacky as he is? That's a really scary thought.
The other thing that seems obvious to me is that I don't believe Trump is smart enough to come up with these posts to begin with. So I'm assuming it's the bunny burner Harp that is pushing this stuff out there. Now I'm fully convinced our country is being run by two nuts.My next question is "Are there any sane people left at DoD who are the carriers of the nuke codes"?
Jennifer is great at constructing polemics against the president and his flunkies. Would she please also turn the same kind of withering attention to Democratic wimps such as Schumer who temporize or do nothing at all at this critical time? And, Jamie Raskin might be good on Meet the Press but really, how many voters are watching that?
Frankly I worry about putting too much credence on polls. I'd like to believe that Trump is "in the dumps" but there is a lot of money going into the midterms, much of it MAGA. We just dont know what people will do on election day and why. Just look at 2024 which was supposed to be a close race.
