It seems to me this pope has backbone, which obviously is something lacking in fascists, in and out of congress. Even if he were not a native English speaker, I'm pretty sure he would push back against the sort of "catholicism" coming out of the mouths of so many of the orange dumpster's followers, including those infamous six on the Roberts court, but especially the guy who changes names and religions like other people change their underwear and, of course, the womanizing, alcoholic religious crusader at the Pentagon.

Papauté d’Avignon for seven popes in Arles rather than Rome in the 14th century, yet we have an orange ignoramus feuding with the pope from a country just 250 years old, semiquincentennial. I hope the orange turd jumps off a real cliff instead of his rhetorical cliff. Go room with orban, good riddance to both losers, and bring Stephen miller along with you.

Absolutely, especially on the Stephen Miller part.

The right questions and the right answers. An accurate description of his behavior is in the title. Puerile.

On crime, the Pope is as strong as the Canon.

My shock is that they even knew about the “Avignon Pope”!

The cardinals raised up this pope, for those of us who are Godless. They are worldly and intelligent.

Great to hear, Jen, about the American Pope can hold his own against our ridiculous president, like Zelensky did when Trump & Vance tried to sabotage Zelensky who is a Ukrainian hero.

What a great source to bring on in this moment. Leave it to the folks at the Contrarian to find the most articulate and thoughtful guests, and bring them on for an in depth discussion. I so appreciate the depth and breadth of the Contrarian. Thank you all so much!
