How perfect! I am afraid he will be in "up to his neck" by the time Congress does anything to get us out of the Iran mess. And, by then, the "Straits" are likely to be dire for us because of all the debt we have incurred. I just wish Trump could be made personally liable for the costs of this illegal, unauthorized war.

I had the same thought, Trump's up to his neck, and it would be a real shame if the Strait of Hormuz ended up drowning him.

I think we are ALL up to our neck, drowning in a sea of cowards like CBS who shiver in fear of loosing precious pennies from their bottom line.

Many cowards with absolutely NO MORAL COMPASS.

I could NOT agree with you more! If the Republican cowards in Congress had spoken up to begin with, refusing to normalize the corrupt, bombastic behavior of Trump, but instead conducted themselves with any kind of moral compass, standing up for our Constitution -- years ago -- he would never have even won his second term. People cannot know the truth if those they trust back up lies, and vilify the other party. Leaders must lead. The public's view will follow, educated. So far, Disney seems to have stood up twice to this regime, first in Florida, and now with ABC. The comedians on late night tv have a better record!!

So, without actually agreeing to anything, Xj has given Don the Con enough vague talk to allow the Trump cult and the compliant corporate media to say that "progress" was made. Meanwhile, Trump has publicly agreed to "consider" Xi's intentions toward Taiwan -- a worrisome first from an American president.

Next time, can we please, please send grownups?

Welcome to the Chinese Century. Thanks, Donnie!
