100 court order violations? Why weren't there 100 contempt of court findings and subsequent punishments? Violations of the law need to be punished, not just talked about. Time for our judges to show some courage. All they are doing now is encouraging law breaking by the Trump gestapo.

YES! Why the hold back on contempt? While I appreciate the finger-shaking and forthright statements, any parent knows how far admonitions without consequences go.

Thank our remaining democracy for the judicial bulwark against the would-be dictator and his Nazi storm troopers.

Thank you, Norm for all that you do, our crusader for justice.

Since this regime seems to like changing the names of things, (and rules) would it not be appropriate to change the department of justice (no caps intentional) to the Department of Revenge, or possibly Department of Lawlessness? This department has become the muscled enforcement arm of the president, carrying his water in lawsuits and attacks against our freedom.

In a Zoom discussion with Josh Turek, he revealed that the folks in the country who voted for Trump feel betrayed. He ran on cost of living reductions and yetfarmerds are contending with greatly increased diesel prices, and fertilizer prices both as a result ot the Hormuz strangling and Trump's Canada tarriffs. And cost of farm equipment has increaeds because of tariff impacts on components from overseas.

"Betrayal" is a very potent word. It is reradily understood, can edasily be applied to Trump's axctions in office.

We can use it to remind the folks whose votes we need who voted for Trump in 24 how our plight and their's originated; BETRAYAL.

You are truly amazing in your legal accomplishments. It’s a constant battle with this administration and you are my knight in shining armor. Congratulations.

I don't know if it's spellcheck or something more sinister, but there are a couple of weird typos in this summary article that have me scratching my head. Both are in the section headed "AI Watch".

First, in the paragraph regarding J.B. Pritzger, the summary text quotes him as saying: " ... to reject the corrosive influence of electric rock and Big Tech spending ..."

If you look at the full article, that should read: " to reject the corrosive influence of AI and Big Tech spending ..."

And in the following paragraph referring to Meghan Houser, the summary text quotes her: "“Many lawmakers are still talking about electric rock regulation ...", while the original article says "many lawmakers are still talking about AI regulation ..."

Are there previously-unknown hazards associated with electric rock? If so, I must be in mortal danger as a result of the past 70 years of my life...

Most excellent analysis - as always, thank you Norm.

Confirming the consistent idiocy of the 1st year litigator that Todd Blanche is, all while he is trying to be tough, I refer folks to a textbook instance of admission against interest.

Blanche admits on video that DOJ is ignoring Court Orders intentionally and provides his reasoning.

No "competent" counsel would speak those words about a case when your client has unresolved legal issues. Excluding of course, Stalin's lawyer.

This 40+ year attorney would fire this punk.

See Glen Kirschner post:

Question is at 6:30 minutes

Admission against trump's interest begins at 6:55 minutes.

One way to defeat habeas corpus rights is to overwhelm the system. This is intentional. Just look at the backlog in Mississippi. There is just one judge and thousands of cases.

I am unfamiliar with whom a judicial misconduct complaint in this particular instance is filed and how that process is supposed to work. Can someone point me in the direction of how that works?

Thanks to these great judges we wouldn’t have the justice we have. It also takes a great lawyer to present the case before the court. You’ve done a spectacular job Norm!

Another "through the looking glass" batshit crazy misrepresentation from the the addled minds of the team that wants everyone but themselves to assiduously follow rules-and-regs. Thanks for the post, Mr. Eisen.

We’re going to need severe SEVERE consequences for as many people in this administration as possible.
