Great article about a strong woman. No matter whether a woman is black, brown or white, she should never accept the disrespect shown by any man who thinks he should be able to fuck around.

Dear Shalise, Thanks for this insight on how Black women vocally respond to each other's appearances, both visual and reputational.

On another topic, I have been hoping to ask you, as I can't find a respectful way to approach those I don't know on this subject: What the hell do Black people make of Clarence Thomas???

I'm sure they call him an oreo

Amen to that! Color is immaterial to this issue. All people deserve a chance to give and take respect. In a partnership, respect and faithfulness are also partners.

Good for her! And for all the black women standing up against their oppressors and abusers.

Good story to bring us into a part of Megan's life.

Although I don't like rap music at all, for some reason I watched a video Megan did when she first became famous. I was so impressed by her integrity, and the way she wielded her flamboyance. And I've gained more respect for her over the years because she has the guts to stand on her principles, and she's willing to speak up.

All women will get crap from some guy and his buddies say she’s a problem. It seems like Black women get the worst of it. ❤️to Megan.

Great article and good for Megan. This old white lady would like 5 minutes alone with the guy. The man doesn't know how good he had it, and he'll never have it that good again. Nobody will trust him, ever.

Bravo to all those good, strong Black women who support other Black women. As it should be.
