I am grateful, so grateful, for everything Contrarians are doing and have accomplished. And/but…if Congressional and Supreme Court Republicans continue to goose-step on command I cannot help but feel we are merely treading water. Nonetheless I choose to remain hopeful, even as Trump, Vance, Hegseth, Kennedy, Patel, etc. continue to disgrace what we hold dear.
Maybe there is nothing legally wrong with an attorney representing his client's absurd suit in court, but it would be helpful to those of us who wonder what has become of the integrity of the DOJ to discuss what the parameters of representation actually are that when transgressed can elicit sanctions. In short, can this craziness continue and continue until the last MAGA is thrown out of office?
Beware of "discovery" into tRump's mind. That might be the only authoritative source to examine. It may be like taking a walk through a flooded rice paddy in Viet Nam in the early 1970s. There are poisonous snakes and mines to worry about.
We still have to deal with all the election deniers who have gotten onto elections commissions. They may well refuse to certify key election results. We need to have court injunctions loaded and ready to file everywhere there are election deniers involved in election certification.
Be very glad none of your cases have to appear before Judge Aileen Cannon. She has zero excuse for her partisan decisions. She graduated from a good law school and was a federal prosecutor. She seems to be make the case for a SCOTUS appointment for the next opening.

Please think about history. The South didn't change from Democratic to Republican. It stayed the same - Confederate. The only part of the Civil War than ended was the military part. The political part continues. It was responsible for all those statues the Daughters of the Confederacy erected and the rights violations that the politics of Jim Crowe imposed. There was a short respite in the 1960s and 1970s, but it has returned after its long slumber. This is just a continuation of that war of values.
Likewise, those who wanted to have a king are still here through their descendants. Never forget that there are those who came here to establish a theocracy. Their descendants are still here and preserve their values. These anti-democratic values have multigenerational stability. They will be part of any attempt to realign policy priorities. This isn't Democrat vs. Republican. It is that we have chosen to be inclusive of incompatible world views. We must remain on guard against those who would impose conquest and crush all dissenting views.
Isn't it interesting that the White KKKristian Nationalists want to set up closed communities that operate under their version of Sharia Law? If they will not allow Muslims to do it, why should they be able to do it?

How does an Aileen Cannon become a judge? Let alone with pretensions to become a justice?!??! There is a huge flaw in our appointment of such people.
