I am truly embarrassed by any woman, no matter her age, voting for the orange fascist dumpster, or any fascist for that matter. If they don't have their own interests at heart, who does?
Right now we’re fighting for our daughters and granddaughters. Reproductive rights have been taken away and some cases are still under fire. And unless the SAVE Act is defeated many will not get the privilege of a vote. Unless we rise up and defeat the pseudoscience bs coming from the department of HHS we can forget about vaccines and other life saving treatments. There’s a lot to fight for.
There are two parts of my reaction to this post. 1. As a gen x woman I really appreciate any fight. I try to talk with my senators and do the no kings - So in that case its a motivational piece. And I am a white woman who voted for Kamala because of her stance on the issues — I wanted substance — Kamala presented it — Maybe Trump came with the packaging that people wanted in their president — He seemed crazy to me - but silly me to try to look past his whiteness as a sole qualificator. That really saddens me and I know some fine people of all walks of life. The next election I hope I still look beyond the packaging to a leader who is sane and has a reasonable response to what America needs. In the meantime I will fight like hell for our democracy, against the vote act, even with people where I do not agree on some points.
